Basketball Recap: Conestoga Christian Takes a Loss

Conestoga Christian lost against Lancaster County Christian back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Conestoga Christian Cougars took a blow against the Lancaster County Christian Lions, falling 52-18. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Reagan Hails was Conestoga Christian's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Hails also led the team in rebounds with six. Katie Denlinger took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Alicia Fisher was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 30 points and nine boards for Lancaster County Christian. Fisher's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Faith Urenovitch, who went 5 of 7 en route to 10 points and four steals.

Conestoga Christian's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Lancaster County Christian, they pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Conestoga Christian has already played their next game, a 55-14 defeat against Linville Hill on the 24th. As for Lancaster County Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-14 win against Coventry Christian on the 24th.
