Soccer Recap: Valley Torah Comes Up Short

The matchup between Valley Torah and Desert Christian on Thursday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Valley Torah Wolfpack might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Desert Christian Knights an easy 9-0 victory. The Wolfpack haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Valley Torah's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Desert Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Valley Torah will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) at 6:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Desert Christian also won't see the pitch for a while: their next game is against Heritage Christian at 3:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
