Soccer Recap: Foothill Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Foothill was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Pleasant Valley Vikings by a score of 1-0. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Cougars couldn't quite close it out.

Foothill's defeat dropped their record down to 15-2. As for Pleasant Valley, they pushed their record up to 11-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

The future could be bright for both Foothill and Pleasant Valley: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Foothill will try to hand Enterprise their tenth-straight loss when the two meet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Pleasant Valley will look to extend Red Bluff's three-game losing streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
