Fremont's tournament run continued when they took on Fort Wayne Northrop on Saturday. The Eagles fell just short of the Bruins by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, Eastside came up short against Angola on Monday, falling 3-0.

While Eastside was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Angola's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-10, 26-24.

Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Eastside, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-9.

Fremont was able to grind out a solid win over Eastside in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blazers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
