Soccer Recap: Indio Takes a Loss

After flying high against Twentynine Palms last Thursday, Indio came back down to earth. The Indio Rajahs lost 4-1 to the Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs on Tuesday. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Rajahs couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Anika Coronado, who's now up to seven this season.

Indio now has a losing record at 7-8-1. As for Coachella Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Indio wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 4-1 win against Yucca Valley on the 16th. As for Coachella Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-0 victory against Twentynine Palms on the 16th.
