Marian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bellevue East Chieftains. The Crusaders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Chieftains, too.
Marian's got stronger as the match went on, holding Bellevue East to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16, 25-13.
Erin Cramer paced Marian's offense, picking up nine kills. Cramer got some help from Sami Curnyn and her 19 assists. Campbell Capece controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
