Oak Park-River Forest lost to Lockport back in March of 2025, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Huskies sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 victory over the Porters. That's two games straight that the Huskies have won by exactly two runs.

Liam Brown was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Oak Park-River Forest lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

The win made it two in a row for Oak Park-River Forest and bumps their season record up to 4-2. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two runs across that stretch. As for Lockport, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
