Soccer Recap: Venice Takes a Loss

Venice entered their contest against GALA on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. 2025 welcomed the Venice Gondoliers with a 3-0 loss courtesy of the GALA Goddesses. The game was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for the Gondoliers it sure didn't stay that way.

Venice's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-2-3. As for GALA, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Venice will take on University at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for GALA, they will face off against King/Drew at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
