Softball Recap: Union Comes Up Short

If Union was riding high fresh off their 12-6 takedown of Booker T. Washington on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Redhawks fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 6-5 on Thursday. The Redhawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hornets earlier this season, when they won 12-6.

Union has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. As for Booker T. Washington, their win bumped their record up to 7-20.

Union didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-3 defeat against Bishop Kelley on the 29th. As for Booker T. Washington, they have also already played their next game, a 4-3 loss against Sequoyah on the 27th.
