Soccer Recap: College Park Triumphs

College Park gave up the first goal on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They had just enough and edged the Castro Valley Trojans out 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ariana Upson and Sophia Voorhies scored both of College Park's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

College Park's victory bumped their record up to 2-0-5. As for Castro Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

College Park will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Carondelet at 4:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Castro Valley also won't see the pitch for a while: their next matchup is against Bishop O'Dowd at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
