Soccer Recap: Hebron Christian Gets the Win

While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Hebron Christian Lions who were credited with the victory on Thursday. The Hebron Christian Lions got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the South Gwinnett Comets's three. Samuel Carlson had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Lions.

The win made it two in a row for Hebron Christian and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. As for South Gwinnett, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Hebron Christian will challenge Athens Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Gwinnett, they will face off against Norcross at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Gwinnett's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
