Softball Recap: Bayard Comes Up Short

Bayard had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Guardian Angels Central Catholic Bluejays, falling 11-0. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Bluejays from their previous meeting back in August of 2023.

Guardian Angels Central Catholic's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Coincidentally, Bayard and Guardian Angels Central Catholic will both be playing Southern/Diller-Odell the next time they take the field. The Bluejays will head out to face Southern/Diller-Odell at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 12:30 p.m.
