Basketball Recap: Shikellamy's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Shikellamy won the last time they faced Midd-West, and Lily Fatool did her part to make sure it happened again. The Shikellamy Braves claimed a resounding 70-22 victory over the Midd-West Mustangs thanks in part to Fatool, who went 9 for 16 en route to 28 points along with six steals and five assists. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played.

Another player making a difference was Kianah Lenner, who posted 11 points and four steals. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Shikellamy moved to 9-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Midd-West, their defeat was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-13.

Shikellamy has already played their next matchup, a 55-18 victory against Danville on the 25th. As for Midd-West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 68-17 loss against Selinsgrove on the 25th.
