Baseball Recap: Rome Takes a Loss

Rome was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 4-0 to the Villa Rica Wildcats. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2019.

Rome's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Villa Rica, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-2.

While Rome had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:55 p.m. on Friday.
