Football Recap: Lake City Takes a Loss

After flying high against La Crescent/La Crescent Montessori & Stem last Friday, Lake City came back down to earth. The Tigers were beaten by Cotter/Hope Lutheran/Riverway/Meinke HomeSchool 53-22 on Friday. The loss put an end to the Tigers' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lake City fell to 2-1. As for Cotter/Hope Lutheran/Riverway/Meinke HomeSchool, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake City will face off against Goodhue at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cotter/Hope Lutheran/Riverway/Meinke HomeSchool, they will square off against Pine Island at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
