Festus has gone a perfect 10-0 against Jefferson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Tigers are taking a road trip to face off against the Blue Jays at 4:30 p.m. Festus will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.

Festus lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Seckman, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's game. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Jaguars on Tuesday. Considering the Tigers have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ava Oberle spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on seven hits and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, Keeleigh Hankins was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, one triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Mia Metzger, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and one double.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Festus lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Jefferson came up short against Saxony Lutheran on Wednesday, falling 9-3. The Blue Jays have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Festus, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.

Everything went Festus' way against Jefferson in their previous meeting on Saturday, as Festus made off with a 16-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
