Basketball Recap: Victory Christian Takes a Loss

Victory Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 45-8 loss at the hands of the Sacramento Waldorf Waves. The Vikings were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-6.

Jaclyn Bacchi was Victory Christian's leading scorer, having posted four points. Bacchi also led the team in rebounds with 13.

Ella Domin? had an outrageously good game for Sacramento Waldorf as she went 7 for 17 to rack up 15 points along with eight boards and seven assists. Domin? has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Zoe Malena was another key player, going 5 of 11 en route to 11 points and six rebounds.

Victory Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Sacramento Waldorf, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

Victory Christian has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Foresthill on the 7th. As for Sacramento Waldorf, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 40-13 victory against John Adams Academy Rsvl/Lin on the 7th.
