Recap: Jersey Shore Bulldogs vs. Lewisburg Green Dragons

There's no place like home for the Jersey Shore Bulldogs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They took down Lewisburg 56-42 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Jersey Shore also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.

Jersey Shore's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Peyton Dincher, who scored 20 points along with eight rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Dincher has scored at least 25% of Jersey Shore's points. Another player making a difference was Jocelyn McCracken, who scored 12 points.

Jersey Shore pushed their record up to 7-3 with that win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Lewisburg, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jersey Shore will take on Selinsgrove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Selinsgrove will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 455th, while Jersey Shore is ranked 132nd). As for Lewisburg, they will head out on the road to face off against Shikellamy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Shikellamy and Lewisburg are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
