The scorekeeper got an easy start on Thursday as neither Riverdale nor Douglass made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Raiders never let the Astros get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Raiders as they're now sitting on 11 straight.

Not much got past Joel Rachmann, who gave up just four hits and racked up 13 Ks to keep Douglass off the board. Rachmann has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Keith Demps was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Emmanuel Huizer, who earned one RBI, one run, and two stolen bases.

Riverdale pushed their record up to 13-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Douglass, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
