Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday Jaelynn Smith stepped things up a notch to give Dewey the 'W'. Smith scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3, which was good enough to set a new career-high in stolen bases.

Smith's strong effort led Dewey over Sequoyah and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldoggers are 7-2 against the Eagles going back to September of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
