Baseball Recap: Hamtramck's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Hamtramck came into Tuesday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Osborn Knights on Tuesday. For the Cosmos, this counts as revenge for the 7-4 victory the Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2025.

Gabriel Mills and Kacey Brock did most of the damage at the plate: Mills went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one double, while Brock went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI Mills has posted since back in April of 2025. Dorian Haslam was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Hamtramck always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Osborn only posted an OBP of .500.

Hamtramck's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Osborn, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 20-11.

Looking ahead, Hamtramck will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Chandler Park Academy at 4:30 p.m. Osborn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
