Softball Recap: Grovetown's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Grovetown lost against Harlem back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors fell 10-6 to the Bulldogs. The loss put an end to the Warriors' undefeated start to the season.

Josalyn Sergent made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Avery Titus, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run.

Having lost for the first time this season, Grovetown fell to 2-1. As for Harlem, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Grovetown will square off against Heritage at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Harlem, they will challenge Jeff Davis at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
