Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hollidaysburg). They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers 68-24. The Golden Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 26 points or more this season.

The victory (which was Hollidaysburg's third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.3 points per game. As for Philipsburg-Osceola, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hollidaysburg and Clearfield will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Philipsburg-Osceola, they will head out to take on Bald Eagle Area at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
