After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Coronado, Canyon Hills was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They took down the Mission Bay Buccaneers 42-24. The Rattlers pushed the score to 35-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Buccaneers cut but never quite recovered from.

Anayla Saulo continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 6-for-10 en route to 16 points and three steals. London Waggoner was another key player, putting up seven points in addition to five boards and five steals.

Canyon Hills was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mission Bay only posted one assist.

Despite the loss, Mission Bay still got an impressive performance from Imani Cosby, who almost dropped a triple-double with 21 points, nine rebounds, and nine steals. That was a full 87.5% of Mission Bay's points, marking the third time in a row Cosby has posted more than a third of the team's points.

Canyon Hills is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season. As for Mission Bay, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.

Canyon Hills didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 39-37 win against Hilltop on the 18th. As for Mission Bay, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 42-22 defeat against Tri-City Christian on the 18th.
