Softball Recap: Monroe Area Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

Six must be Monroe Area's lucky number: they beat LaFayette with that score not once but twice on Friday. The Purple Hurricanes beat the Ramblers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-1. For the Purple Hurricanes, this counts as revenge for the 8-0 victory the Ramblers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2023.

Monroe Area has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for LaFayette, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 24-6.

As of now, neither Monroe Area nor the Ramblers have any future games scheduled.
