Basketball Recap: Granite Hills Skates Past San Leandro with Ease

Granite Hills saw some tournament action on Monday. They breezed by the San Leandro Pirates to the tune of 51-23. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 28 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Kerstena Tomika, who posted 23 points. That makes it ten consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Granite Hills' points. SHANIYAH SMITH was another key player, putting up eight points.

Granite Hills' victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-5. As for San Leandro, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-3 record this season.

Granite Hills wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 59-49 win against Santa Fe Christian on the 2nd. San Leandro has also already played their next contest, a 60-27 victory against Mt. Eden on the 2nd.
