Baseball Recap: West Forsyth Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

West Forsyth waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the North Forsyth Raiders by a score of 8-5. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Drew Cribb looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because West Forsyth is 5-2 when he allows at most one walk, but 3-6 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Ethan Bayer was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

The win got West Forsyth back to even at 8-8. As for North Forsyth, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.

West Forsyth will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Raiders: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
