Softball Recap: Fayette County Takes a Loss

Fayette County came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 7-1 to the Haralson County Rebels. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 26-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2021.

Fayette County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was E Patton, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

Fayette County now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Haralson County, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Fayette County will play host again on Saturday to welcome Bremen, where first pitch is scheduled at 2:00 p.m. The Blue Devils will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Haralson County, they will venture away from home to face off against Starr's Mill at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
