Chaparral was not the first on the board on Thursday, but they got there more often. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Silver Fighting Colts, sneaking past 2-1. Chaparral haven't had any issues with Silver recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Brian Flores was the driving force of Chaparral's attack as he scored both of Chaparral's goals, bringing his season total up to 16 goals.

Chaparral now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Silver, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-7.
