It was a proper cat-fight when Creston faced off against Madrid on Thursday. The Panthers won by a goal and slipped past the Tigers 2-1. That's two games straight that Creston have won by just one goal.

The victory made it two in a row for Creston and bumps their season record up to 5-7. As for Madrid, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-4-2.

Creston has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Boone on the 1st. As for Madrid, they will square off against Nevada at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Madrid will need to watch out since Nevada have now posted at least four goals in their last three matchups.
