Soccer Recap: Mount Miguel Comes Up Short

Mount Miguel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 7-0 to the Grossmont Foothillers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Matadors of the 6-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Mount Miguel now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Grossmont, their win bumped their record up to 3-7-1.

Mount Miguel will challenge Monte Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Grossmont, they will head out to take on Helix at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th.
