Soccer Game Preview: Valdosta vs. Colquitt County

Valdosta hasn't had much luck against Colquitt County recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Valdosta Wildcats will be playing at home against the Colquitt County Packers at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Valdosta turned things around against Dodge County last Friday. Everything went their way against the Indians as they made off with a 4-1 win. The score was close at the half, but the Wildcats pulled away in the second half with two goals.

They hit Dodge County with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jose Gomez (2), Michael Pompa, and Uriah Montgomery.

Meanwhile, Colquitt County sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Tift County on Friday. The Packers haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Valdosta's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Colquitt County, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
