Softball Recap: Elbert County Comes Up Short

Elbert County and Thomasville squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Elbert County had to settle for second. They fell 11-8 to the Bulldogs. The Blue Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 10-9.

Elbert County's defeat dropped their record down to 27-5. As for Thomasville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Elbert County nor Thomasville have any future games scheduled.
