Bulloch Academy had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Westminster Schools of Augusta on Wednesday. The Gators were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Wildcats. The result was nothing new for the Gators, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Bulloch Academy, bringing their record up to 15-6. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Westminster Schools of Augusta, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Bulloch Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wildcats: the pair will be back at it again later today.
