Soccer Game Preview: Alpharetta vs. Chattahoochee

The Alpharetta Raiders will venture away from home to challenge the Chattahoochee Cougars at 7:55 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Alpharetta took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand North Forsyth a 2-0 shutout. Alpharetta hasn't had any issues with North Forsyth recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chattahoochee). They put the hurt on Mountain View with a sharp 8-0 win on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Chattahoochee with their most commanding win of the season.

Alpharetta's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-9. As for Chattahoochee, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
