Soccer Recap: Lynbrook Comes Up Short

Lynbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Milpitas Trojans. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Vikings couldn't quite close it out.

Saniha DSouza` and Aditi Satish scored both of Lynbrook's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Lynbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Milpitas, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Lynbrook has already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Monta Vista on the 13th. As for Milpitas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 1-0 win against MacDonald on the 13th.
