Basketball Recap: Cordova Takes a Loss

Cordova was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Kennedy Cougars and fell 59-30. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-26 on January 8th.

Cordova's record now sits at 4-21. As for Kennedy, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4.

Cordova will be playing in front of their home fans against McClatchy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. McClatchy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Cordova likes a good challenge. As for Kennedy, they will head out to take on Grant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Grant is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58 points per game this season.
