Baseball Game Preview: Huron River Rats vs. Glenn Bobcats

The Huron River Rats will take on the Glenn Bobcats at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Huron and Greenhills have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Wednesday. The River Rats came out on top against the Gryphons by a score of 5-2.

15 must be Glenn's lucky number: they beat Birch Run with that score not once but twice on Friday. The Bobcats put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 15-1 victory. Considering the Bobcats have won nine contests by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Glenn and bumps their season record up to 15-8-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Huron, their win bumped their record up to 13-17.
