Basketball Recap: Buckingham Charter Takes a Loss

Buckingham Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Faith Christian Lions and fell 61-15. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-4.

It was another big night for Lauren Harris, who went 8 for 13 from beyond the arc on her way to 30 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists for Faith Christian. Another player making a difference was Presley Berry, who went 5 of 8 en route to 12 points along with seven assists and six boards.

Buckingham Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Faith Christian, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-2.

Buckingham Charter has already played their next match (against Sacramento Country Day), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Faith Christian has already played their next contest, an 82-62 win against Valley Christian on the 1st.
