Softball Recap: Morrow Comes Up Short

Morrow extended their losing streak to ten on Tuesday, dropping them down to 0-10. They came up short against the Northgate Vikings, falling 18-0. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Vikings from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

As for Northgate, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

For Northgate's part, they got a massive performance out of Ella Grace Kramer, who went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs Kramer has posted since back in September of 2024. Trinity Hargrett was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morrow will welcome Mt. Zion at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northgate, they will square off against Harris County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Vikings 2.6, the Tigers 1.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
