Baseball Game Preview: Mill Creek Hawks vs. Collins Hill Eagles

The Mill Creek Hawks will challenge the Collins Hill Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Mill Creek's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Collins Hill's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Last Thursday, Mill Creek came up short against Marist and fell 8-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Hawks in their meetings with the War Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Collins Hill came up short against Roswell on Friday, falling 15-3.

Collins Hill saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Atticus Joseph, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Mill Creek's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Collins Hill, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-11.

Mill Creek was able to grind out a solid win over Collins Hill in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 6-3. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
