Softball Recap: Sapulpa Finds Home Field Redemption Against Stroud

There's no place like home for Sapulpa, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 5-1 win over the Stroud Tigers on Friday. This was payback for the Chieftains, who suffered a 10-8 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Sapulpa's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Stroud, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Sapulpa has already played their next matchup, an 8-0 defeat against Kingston on the 16th. As for Stroud, they will head out to square off against Tonkawa at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The contest will give the Tigers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
