Soccer Game Preview: Tomales vs. Technology

Tomales hasn't had much luck against Technology recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Braves will look to defend their home pitch against the Titans at 4:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Tomales is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of California's top teams: Calistoga, who was ranked tenth at the time (Tomales was ranked 17th). The Braves fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Tomales couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Technology came tearing into Wednesday's contest with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. Technology's winning goal came courtesy of Elise Seo.

Tomales' defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-2. As for Technology, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2-1.
