Recap: Frazier Commodores vs. Chartiers-Houston Buccaneers
The Frazier Commodores's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Chartiers-Houston 63-26. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Frazier in their matchups with Chartiers-Houston: they've now lost six in a row.
Despite the loss, Frazier had strong showings from Chloe Harger, who scored 11 points, and Malana Burton, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds. Those 14 rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Allie Yauch, who scored two points.
Frazier has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Chartiers-Houston, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Frazier will take on Carmichaels at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chartiers-Houston, they will head out on the road to face off against Monessen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
