After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Appling County, Pierce County was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Wheeler County Bulldogs. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by six runs or more this season.

Pierce County's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Wheeler County, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-4 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pierce County will welcome Coffee at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wheeler County, they will host Treutlen at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
