Volleyball Recap: West Orange Gets the Win

The home team had won the previous three meetings between West Orange and Lake Minneola, and West Orange kept the tradition alive. The Warriors walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hawks on Saturday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-22.

West Orange's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Lake Minneola, they now also have a losing record of 1-2.

Coincidentally, West Orange and Lake Minneola will both be playing Lake Buena Vista the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Vipers at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Hawks will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
