Baseball Recap: Elbert County Picks Up Seventh Straight Win on the Road

Elbert County waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They beat Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 13-2. The Blue Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy, too.

Elbert County got a great performance from Haven Adams as he tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Furthermore, Adams didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Jose Rodriguez was a standout: he scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Sam Amabile also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
