Basketball Game Preview: Elk Creek Elks vs. Plumas Charter Warriors

The Elk Creek Elks will head out to challenge the Plumas Charter Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Elk Creek came up short against Princeton on Tuesday, falling 47-22. The Elks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Plumas Charter). They blew past Paradise Adventist Academy 50-24 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Plumas Charter found their leader in freshman Jaycee Pew, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pew has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Savana Hymas, who posted seven points and 18 rebounds.

Elk Creek now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Plumas Charter, their win bumped their record up to 5-12.
