Basketball Recap: Julian Navarro's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tehachapi over Stockdale + How To Watch

Tehachapi made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Stockdale, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Warriors fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 58-55 on Tuesday. The Warriors have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Tehachapi's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Julian Navarro, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Conner Jenkins, who earned 12 points and five steals.

Stockdale was led to victory by Michael Abapo and Russell Grimes. Abapo dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds, while Grimes almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards. Those nine boards gave Grimes a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of McKay Beed, who scored seven points.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 8-3. As for Stockdale, their win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-4.
