Wellsboro is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They lost 58-35 to Wyalusing Valley. Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Towanda's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Troy and fell 68-27. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Black Knights have suffered since December 27, 2024.

Towanda's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8. As for Wellsboro, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.
